This year’s coffee is a natural processed Catucaí from his farm Sitio Canaã in Caconde, São Paulo. An elegant and smooth coffee with flavours of ripe blackberry, bright orange, and creamy milk chocolate. João Hamilton is a producer who never really stands still. For many years, he has worked together with FAFCoffees to develop both the quality of the coffee and the farming methods around him. A fresh and vibrant coffee with flavours of passion fruit, crisp pomelo, and heavy floral notes reminiscent of jasmine and lilac. Willyan comes from a family of coffee producers and started his own farm, Finca La Montañita, in the mid-90s. But it wasn’t until the late 2000s that he began focusing on specialty coffee instead of conventional coffee production.
